CLEAN ENERGY AND SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION
We employ cutting-edge production technologies and carefully select low-impact materials, such as low-VOC paints and recycled materials. Moreover, in 2003 we installed over the roof of our first factory a 7,000 m² photovoltaic plant that, at time of its construction, was the largest photovoltaic plant in Sicily. This allows us to be energy self-sufficient. Thanks to this strategic choice, we have almost completely eliminated our CO₂ emissions, contributing significantly to the transition towards a more sustainable energy future.
Looking ahead, we are committed to pursuing ambitious sustainability goals. We plan to expand our clean energy production and keep investing in energy efficient solutions with the ultimate goal of of absorbing more CO₂ than we emit. In parallel, we continue to optimize our production processes, implementing targeted strategies to reduce waste and scraps. A concrete example is the management of the metallic waste, which is sent for recycling, thus contributing to promoting a circular economy.
