Our history
1928
Establishment of the company with a specific focus on the production of machineries dedicated to the wine industry and production of the first distillation plant for essential oils extraction from orange peels.
1932
Introduction of the first production line dedicated to Generating sets powered by Gas and Diesel engines, including the availability of low speed gensets configurations, as mostly requested by the Wine Industry.
1990
Construction of the new industrial plant covering an area of 32.000 sqm and organization of the production processes for large volumes production, following the new approach of the company towards export markets and international business development.
2003
Establishment of the Energy Service Company “MediPower”, focused on powering – through its own fleet of generating sets – the off-grid sites of the italian Telecom Operators, representing the first case of company offering a pure OPEX-based business model in the Energy sector.
2011
Launch of Ausonia No-Break Power solutions portfolio, integrating Gensets, Energy Storage solutions and Renewables, specifically developed to guarantee continuos uptime conditions and prevent financial losses to Customers, due to possible downtime at their power centers.
2018
Production processes revision according to Industry 4.0 program, with the introduction of automated flexible production machineries, concentrating on added value operations, while minimizing WIP, waste and inefficiencies, also reducing delivery lead-times.
2021
Inauguration of Ausonia new factory, Plant 2, dedicated to the production of large-sized, high-power capacity gensets, in response to high demand from critical application sectors such as Oil & Gas and Data Centers.
2024
New investment for the purchase of the land adjacent to the existing premises in order to expand the available logistic spaces and testing areas, facilitating the internal operations to cope with the increasing demand for containerized genset solutions coming from specific sectors, such as Data Center, Oil & Gas and Public Utilities sectors.
